MadgiquePool was created in 1994 in Aix en Provence, following the creation of the play « l’homme à jeux » by Vinciane Saelens. It’s the fruit of the meeting of two actresses, eager to create their own company and its history.

History of words, situations, actors and technicians who get together or break away.Artistic choices which are anchored in their time following the current of its upheavals. Personalities which unit and bring their thoughts on performing arts to progress. The company wish to create live shows after investigation into matters such as duality, the otherness, the difference and the recognition of the other.

MadgiquePool presents shows including political and historical hints, as well as comedies, or readings or performance art.

The company created about ten shows based on personnal writtings, by one or several persons, but also authors’ works, or even worldless ; shows having alternately one director or a group direction.

That work endlessly on the go: thinking elsewhere or thinking differently.
